Pride

70x90 cm

The sacred pool of enlightenment calls upon the Lions representing earth, wind, fire and water. Many days and nights they traveled as they carry the souls of all the Lions before them. As they approached the pool, a voice cried out. "Thank you for your presence, you've been summoned because of a crisis in our kingdom. Times are troubled as lions are in conflict too much among themselves. They are now too concerned about our differences and less about how we are the same. Only you, through your spiritual englightenment, can rid the disease from our land. I ask each of you to enter the water. Only then will the solution reveal itself." So after the four lions submerged into the calm waters, the sky turned yellow and brown. The waters became angry as the hatred that plagued the land, dispersed in the pool. The water regained it's calm. "Rise from sacred pool." A creatiure unlike any other emerged and walked unto the land. A beam of light from above highlighted the creature. A bright pink lion stood. "You are the combined form of all four lions. Go and show others the way to intolerance, love and passion." With a slight nod, the pink lion walked away. From heneforce, his name will be Pride.
